We met by chance in Peru when Stian was backpacking through South America, and Raysa had just quit her job in the private sector to return to her true calling, Economics. What started as something small, turned into something much deeper. Immediately, there were sparks of love. But our journey was not exactly straightforward.

Stian's plan was to continue to Colombia before returning for Norway and finishing his studies. However, chance, destiny - or whatever you choose to call it - had other plans. A big earthquake and a lost passport in Ecuador later, Stian could not think of anything but Raysa. Still, being a bit of a blockhead, he didn't turn around.

Luckily, Colombia was not impressed with his emergency passport and denied him entry. Finally, he realized his mistake and headed back to Raysa as fast as a 48-hour busride could take him.

On that first day back in Lima, Stian said those magic three words. Now, exactly ten years after we met, with our wonderful son, Torbjørn Guillermo, we’re so excited to celebrate our love with you, dear family and friends.
